Job summary

Concept Metal Machining LLC in Michigan is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set up and operate our precision equipment. You will mount, align, and dial-in fixtures, read blueprints, and perform first-piece checks to ensure quality before production.

The role requires maintaining production paperwork, following safety rules, and collaborating with teammates in a respectful, team-oriented environment. Knowledge of Mazatrol programming is a plus, and a high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to mount, align and dial-in fixtures, chuck jaws, and raw material stock.
• Mazatrol programming knowledge is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent; ability to read blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Carry out machine set up and machine operation duties.
• Make first piece check as listed on Inspection Data Sheets.
• Accurately complete all necessary production documentation.
• Effectively monitor production equipment.
• Perform daily maintenance plan for equipment; maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Follow established safety rules and regulations.
• Follow all Concept Machining policies and procedures.
• Work with fellow employees in a respectful, calm, and team-oriented manner.
• Assist CNC lead as necessary.
• Any additional responsibilities assigned by the General Manager, Operations Manager or Area Leader.

Prerequisites /Qualifications

Able to mount, align and dial-in fixtures, chuck jaws, and raw material stock.

Knowledge of Mazatrol programming a plus.

Position requires high school diploma or equivalent. Ability to accurately read blueprints. Able to lift a maximum of 40 pounds and stand for an 8-10-hour work shift.
