Job summary

B&A is seeking an Application Workflow SME to support the Defense Health Agency's CBIS program. You will guide ECM/BPM strategy, focusing on OpenText AppWorks and Content Server, ensuring effective use of the EIM platform in AWS GovCloud for MA healthcare workflows.

This full-time role in the National Capital Region requires deep government-facing communication, upgrade planning, and collaboration with OpenText services to deliver sustainable solutions for DHA applications.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science; master's degree desirable.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of technical experience related to Health IT and secure automated enterprise content management systems implementation.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Content Management Systems and Business Process Management.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise in ECM and BPM products, especially OpenText AppWorks and Content Server.
• Advise Government on how to use EIM/BPM COTS to meet workflow requirements.
• Recommend optimal upgrade cadence for COTS products based on versions.
• Assess impact of new workflow requirements on the production platform and assist with effort estimates.
• Collaborate with the functional community to improve user workflows, UI, data models, and proof-of-concept builds.
• Support records management capabilities meeting NARA and DoDI 5015.02 requirements (HAIMS, DMACS Archive, FILER).
• Coordinate with OpenText Professional Services on activities needing manufacturer expertise.
• Develop training materials, user guides, and admin guides when workflow features change.
