Job summary

A technology solutions company is seeking a Chef / IaaS Engineer to build a private cloud infrastructure in Wilmington, DE. This role requires expertise in IaaS platforms, configuration management with Chef, and strong knowledge of networking and security. The successful candidate will modernize the client's infrastructure to support scalability and implement event-driven architectures. This position allows for onsite work initially, followed by potential remote flexibility.

Qualifications

• Expertise in IaaS platform management and operation.
• Experience with Chef configuration management tool.
• Proficient in Ubuntu/RHEL and networking technologies.
• Strong knowledge of security practices.
• Familiarity with Test Driven Development and Continuous Delivery methodologies.
• Experience in systems integration projects.

Responsibilities
