Job summary

Kaizen Technologies is seeking an OpenShift Virtualization Engineer to manage and optimize Red Hat OpenShift clusters with a focus on CNV. The role covers planning and executing VMware-to-OpenShift migrations, creating VMs within OpenShift, and ensuring high availability, performance, and security of the virtualization platform.

Responsibilities include CNV management, cluster upgrades, monitoring, and troubleshooting across pods, nodes, networking, and storage.

Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift / Kubernetes.
Deep understanding of OpenShift Virtualization (KubeVirt).
Experience migrating workloads from VMware vSphere to OpenShift.
Build and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
Proficiency with Linux (RHEL), networking, virtualization concepts.
Experience with storage backends and CSI solutions.
Familiarity with YAML, Helm, Operators, and Kubernetes resources.
Understanding of GitOps and CI/CD tools.

Responsibilities

Manage OpenShift Virtualization (CNV) components including
Perform cluster upgrades, patches, and lifecycle management.
Monitor cluster health, performance, and capacity using monitoring tools.
Troubleshoot issues related to pods, nodes, networking, storage, and VM workloads.
