Job summary

Canvendor is seeking an OpenShift/Cloud Engineer to design, deploy and operate Platform-as-a-Service offerings. You will drive automation, support, and thought leadership while migrating applications to containerized environments.

Responsibilities include implementing multi-node HA clusters, CI/CD pipelines, and container orchestration with Kubernetes and OpenShift, along with VMware and networking basics.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with OpenShift infrastructure design and operations.
• Proficiency with Linux containers, Kubernetes, and deployment of microservices.
• Experience migrating/refactoring apps to containerized workloads.
• Proficient in configuration management scripting (Ansible/Chef/Puppet/Python).
• Knowledge of multi-node HA clusters, monitoring, and performance testing.
• Hands-on with CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins) and automated deployments.
• Strong DevOps understanding and ability to communicate complex topics clearly.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, support, automate and lead in Platform-as-a-Service offerings.
• Assist with application migrations to Platform-as-a-Service environments.
• Document, share knowledge and train team members.
• Implement and optimize containerized workloads and deployments.
