Job summary

Veriipro in Jersey City seeks an experienced Kubernetes/OpenShift Engineer to design, deploy, and manage containerized apps. You will build and secure scalable clusters, create Docker images, and automate CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins.

You will support financial messaging platforms like Broadridge Appia, QuickFIX, and SWIFT Alliance Access, while ensuring robust Linux administration and network troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience with Kubernetes and container platform technologies.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).
• Strong Docker experience, including image creation, container management, registries, and volumes.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline automation.
• Good understanding of FIX Protocol and FIX order flow.
• Experience with financial messaging platforms such as Broadridge Appia, QuickFIX, SWIFT Alliance Access.
• Strong Linux system administration experience and networking troubleshooting.
• Experience with capital markets or electronic trading platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, administer, and maintain applications on OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).
• Build, configure, and manage Kubernetes clusters for high availability and security.
• Create and maintain Dockerfiles, container images, registries, and containerized deployments.
• Automate builds, tests, and deployments using Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.
• Support and troubleshoot FIX messaging infrastructure and trading platform integrations.
• Configure and maintain Broadridge Appia, QuickFIX, and SWIFT Alliance Access messaging.
• Monitor containerized apps, optimize platform performance, and resolve production issues.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and applications teams on containerized solutions.
• Perform Linux system administration, troubleshooting, and networking configuration.
• Ensure platform security, compliance, and operational best practices.
