Job summary

Stradit LLC in Jersey City, NJ is seeking an OCP Engineer with 6–12 years of experience to design, deploy, and support distributed systems and middleware on Linux environments. You will work with OpenShift, Appia, QuickFIX and SWIFT Alliance, collaborate across Linux, Networking, and Dev teams, and participate in weekend deployments and on-call rotations.

Qualifications

Minimum 6 years of experience with Kubernetes and other container platforms.
5 years' experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).
Knowledge of Broadridge Appia, Open-source QuickFIX and SWIFT Alliance Access products.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
Knowledge in creating Docker files, building images, running containers, and managing Docker volumes and registries.
Good knowledge of FIX protocol and FIX order flow.
Strong scripting in Shell, Perl, Python, etc.

Responsibilities

Drive implementation of the container platform ecosystem use for QuickFIX in the cloud.
Manage, independently install, customize, and integrate commercial software packages using CI/CD tools.
Development, defect fixing, user stories using JIRA, root cause analysis, and maintenance for DS platforms on cloud.
Assist with development of the DS Engineering and Integration team Container Strategy.
Cluster capacity management and provisioning through automation of underlying hosts.
Provide L2/L3 engineering support to platforms and other engineers.
Create system documentation/playbooks and provide cross-training.
