Job summary

B&H Photo Video is seeking an experienced OpenShift/Kubernetes Engineer to design, deploy, and manage enterprise-grade OpenShift clusters at scale in our NYC environment.

You will architect storage solutions with Ceph/Rook/ODF, implement advanced networking, and drive GitOps workflows. The role requires strong Linux administration, scripting, and exposure to CI/CD pipelines, with mentoring responsibilities and ongoing platform improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing production Kubernetes/OpenShift environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, upgrade, and manage OpenShift/Kubernetes clusters at scale.
• Architect and implement OpenShift Storage (Ceph, Rook, ODF).
• Configure multus, SR-IOV, OVN-Kubernetes, network policies, and service mesh integration.
• Implement and maintain GitOps workflows (ArgoCD, Flux).
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infra and apps.
• Automate provisioning with Terraform and Ansible.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across compute, storage, networking, and clusters.
• Ensure HA, DR, backup, and security compliance for OpenShift environments.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with DevOps/SRE/Security teams.
• Stay current with Red Hat/OpenShift ecosystem advancements.
