Job summary

Stradit is seeking an OCP Engineer in Jersey City, NJ for a hybrid role. The candidate will support middleware on Linux and appliances, focusing on container platforms with QuickFIX, FIX, and SWIFT products.

Expect on-call rotations, disaster recovery, and weekend deployments. The role requires a strong background in Kubernetes, OpenShift, Linux, and CI/CD, with experience in cloud environments and automation tools.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience with Kubernetes and container platforms.
• 5+ years of Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).
• Knowledge of Broadridge Appia, Open-source QuickFIX and SWIFT Alliance Access products.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or Engineering.
• Experience creating Dockerfiles, building images, and managing containers.
• Strong knowledge of FIX protocol and FIX order flow.
• Linux administration and networking with scripting (Shell, Perl, Python).

Responsibilities

• Drive implementation of the container platform ecosystem use for QuickFIX in the cloud.
• Install, customize, and integrate commercial software using CI/CD tools.
• Develop, debug, and maintain DS Engineering platforms on cloud modules.
• Support DS Engineering and Integration team container strategy.
• Automate capacity provisioning and cluster management.
• Provide L2/L3 engineering support to platforms and teammates.
• Perform root cause analysis and participate in on-call rotations.
• Create system documentation and playbooks.
