Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT or related field or equivalent professional experience.
6+ years hands-on systems administration, focused on Linux/Red Hat and containers.
Proven OpenShift administration, troubleshooting, and production support.
Proficient Bash and scripting for automation and ops tasks.
Experience with Ansible, IaC (Terraform), and GitLab CI/CD workflows.
Knowledge of Terraform, GitOps practices, and monitoring tools.
Strong written and verbal communication; documentation experience.

Responsibilities

Administer and maintain Red Hat OpenShift platforms and Linux environments.
Handle daily operations, clustering, user mgmt, patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
Develop automation scripts and playbooks with Ansible for deployments and config.
Support end users and application teams; provide guidance and issue resolution.
Document configurations, procedures, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides.
Implement IaC practices using Terraform for consistent provisioning.
Utilize GitLab for version control, CI/CD pipelines, and deployments.
Monitor performance, respond to alerts, perform root-cause analyses.
Collaborate with developers and DevOps to align OpenShift with apps.
