Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking a Platform Engineer to join the Huntsville Operations Support Center. You will build, manage, and modernize Kubernetes infrastructure across OpenShift and AWS, with heavy emphasis on GitOps, IaC, and automation tools to support NASA initiatives.

You will work on tools like ArgoCD, Argo Workflows, Prometheus/Grafana, and Splunk, ensuring scalable, secure, and highly available platforms across modern and legacy environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent comparable experience).

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and manage Kubernetes infrastructure across OpenShift, Charm Kubernetes, and AWS EKS/OpenShift.
• Architect and build Kubernetes solutions using IaC with ArgoCD and Argo Workflows; GitLab pipelines.
• Manage core infra tools like GitLab, Red Hat Satellite, Prometheus/Grafana to support modern and legacy environments.
• Troubleshoot complex Kubernetes-based issues and provide ops support for legacy Linux/Windows virtualization.
• Design and deliver robust Kubernetes-based architectural solutions as projects evolve.
• Support AI infrastructure efforts based on Red Hat AI on OpenShift and Poolside.ai.
