Job summary

V Group Inc. is seeking a seasoned Full Stack Developer for a 11+ month contract in New York, NY hybrid setup. The role focuses on OpenRecords FOIL enhancement, web application development, API integration, and cloud-based implementations.

You will design, implement, and optimize full-stack components and contribute to a modern, user-centered public records access solution. You will collaborate with the project team and report to the Director of Application Development, ensuring high-quality

Qualifications

• 5+ years of front-end web development experience.
• Experience with Python development using Flask and/or Django.
• Experience designing and managing PostgreSQL and MySQL databases.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Docker containerization and cloud-based deployments.
• Experience with Git and GitHub for version control.
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch, Solr, or Lucene.
• Experience writing shell scripts and working in Linux/UNIX environments.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with legacy system modernization and application migration.
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Highly collaborative and effective in cross-functional Agile teams.
