Job summary

Toppers Pizza in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a Closing Manager to lead the team during dinner and late-night hours. You will ensure top-notch customer service, monitor food quality, manage labor, and oversee stocking and closing duties.

The role requires flexibility for 3:00 AM closures, hands-on leadership, and strict adherence to cleanliness and safety. Prior restaurant management experience is preferred.

• Arrive on time and ready to work.
• Unlock and properly open the restaurant.

• Prepare the restaurant for the day's business.
• Complete food preparation and ensure adequate product levels.
• Check dough, toppings, sauces, packaging, and other inventory.
• Make sure the kitchen, dining area, bathrooms, and front counter are clean and ready for customers.
• Review staffing and daily assignments.
• Ensure team members are prepared and in position.
• Monitor food quality and product consistency.
• Complete necessary prep and stocking throughout the shift.
• Manage customer service and resolve customer concerns.
• Monitor labor and productivity.
• Coach employees and hold the team accountable to Toppers standards.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the shift—not just at the end of the day.
• Help ensure the store is set up for a successful lunch and dinner rush.
• Complete additional tasks assigned by the General Manager or Area Supervisor.

CLOSING MANAGER REQUIREMENTS & DUTIES

Closing Managers must understand that Toppers Pizza may be open until 3:00 AM. Closing Managers must be available to work through the close and stay after the restaurant stops serving customers until all required closing duties, cleaning, stocking, and security procedures are completed.
