Job summary

Level5 Hospitality seeks an Opening Assistant General Manager for the Residence Inn CDA in Coeur d'Alene, ID. This role leads the ground-up launch, from final construction phases to grand opening and beyond, driving revenue and maintaining Marriott brand standards.

The Opening AGM will recruit and build a launch team, shape hospitality culture, and ensure a world-class guest experience in a premier Pacific Northwest destination.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and people-management abilities.
• Experience overseeing hotel operations and departments.
• Ability to interpret financial data to guide decisions.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Plans and oversees daily hotel operations.
• Leads department heads to ensure smooth day-to-day service.
• Monitors labor and budget, tracking revenue and expenses.
• Oversees the hotel’s Food & Beverage operations and service quality.
• Coordinates with Front Desk and other departments for seamless operations.
• Ensures Marriott brand standards and health/safety requirements.
• Updates and maintains hotel operations manuals and policies.
• Performs other related duties as required.
