Job summary

Jabil is seeking an OpenBMC Firmware System Architect to guide technical direction for firmware platforms across Cloud, Compute, and switching markets. You will collaborate with customers, sales, and product planning to shape architectures and deliver system-level solutions.

The role requires deep OpenBMC know-how, experience with BMC/BIOS, and leadership to mentor teams while aligning with product requirements and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with OpenBMC architecture, codebase, repository structure and testing.
• Familiarity with IPMI, Redfish, MCTP, PLDM, SMBUS, i2c, i3c, SPI and Linux.

Responsibilities

• Advise customers and design teams on technical direction and tradeoffs.
• Develop system architectures for firmware and cloud compute products.
• Mentor engineers and lead multi-person BMC and BIOS projects.
