Santa Fe County NM is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain county facilities, open spaces, and trails. The role covers electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and landscape tasks and requires ensuring safety protocols and timely reporting of issues.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED or equivalent certification, OSHA/CPR certifications, and ability to lift up to 100 lbs.

Qualifications

• OSHA and CPR certifications required.
• Experience in buildings and grounds maintenance or construction preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and operate various hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance on electrical, plumbing, masonry, carpentry and painting tasks.
• Maintain and operate power tools, pumps and motors safely.
• Order supplies and manage staff tools to keep stock adequate.
• Follow safety and environmental practices and report issues to supervisor.
• Document repair work and assist departments with events as needed.
