Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking an Open Source Program Manager to drive high-visibility, strategic programs within the Open Source Strategy and Marketing team.

You will own complex projects, design program roadmaps, and collaborate with business and development teams to analyze cost/benefit and manage execution. The ideal candidate has a software development background and strong program-management experience, with a bias for action and the ability to communicate at all levels while

Qualifications

• 3+ years of program or project management experience.
• 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
• Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams.

Responsabilités

• Proven ability to influence change at all levels by interacting with cross-disciplinary teams to design new business processes and solutions.
• Proactively gather the right data from appropriate sources and consider other perspectives.
• Conduct root cause analysis, prioritize factors, and act decisively.
• Define functional requirements, high-level processes, and system solutions.
• Take full responsibility for programs from design phase to implementation.
• Implement and manage Open Source Foundations Strategy and maintain relationships with a wide range of open source software foundations and standards bodies.
• Develop a working project plan for each new program or launch to track milestones, deliverables, deadlines, and post-mortems.
• Liaise closely with technology teams across the world to define and drive the technical changes for new and improvement projects.
