Job summary

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience improving software performance and scalability.
• Strong Linux (Debian/Ubuntu) environment experience.
• Knowledge of multi-layer performance concepts and bottleneck analysis.
• Experience with performance measurement tools (eBPF, DTrace, flamegraphs).

Responsibilities

• Drive software performance, efficiency, scalability, and correctness within a project.
• Analyze systems and code to identify bottlenecks and optimization opportunities.
• Develop and improve shared performance tooling, dashboards, and measurement frameworks.
• Strengthen test harnesses, pipelines, benchmarks, and observability capabilities.
• Collaborate with open source communities and cross-region teams to solve performance challenges.
• Mentor teams to establish a culture of measurement and rigorous engineering practices.
