Job summary

Thomson Reuters Special Services (TRSS) is seeking an Analyst to deliver research and analysis supporting the national security community, U.S. military, law enforcement, and private sector.

The Analyst will use publicly available information and TRSS proprietary data to develop relevant, insightful products ranging from due diligence assessments to threat management reports. Responsibilities include on-site client support, preparing ad hoc reports, conducting research, and advising on analytic

Qualifications

• 3+ years of work experience in research and analysis.
• 2+ years using public records, open-source information, and/or social media.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong reading and formal writing skills, including source evaluation.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site client support, including inquiries, ad hoc reports, research, and analytic-method advice.
• Deliver well-researched analysis based on public records, proprietary data, social media, and open-source information.
• Apply current methodologies, develop TRSS data proficiency, and communicate insights via media and visualization tools.
• Collaborate with client managers and TRSS analysts to foster effective practices in a fast-paced environment.
• Take ownership of work and complete increasingly complex tasks and projects.
• Mentor and contribute to analytic development and best practices at TRSS.
