Job summary

Thomson Reuters Special Services (TRSS) is seeking an Analyst to perform due diligence, threat assessment and open-source research for national security, government and private sector clients. You will work on-site, engaging with client managers and TRSS analysts to produce rigorous, defensible assessments.

Required 3+ years in research, a Bachelor's degree, and the ability to obtain a U.S. national security clearance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in research and analysis using public records, open source, or social media data.
• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred.
• Experience conducting investigative research to identify risks, relationships, patterns, and areas of potential concern.
• Ability to translate complex research into clear, well-supported written assessments that distinguish facts from judgments.
• Strong reading and formal writing skills with source evaluation.
• U.S. Citizenship essential to comply with government contract requirements and ability to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform due diligence assessments and threat management reporting.
• Provide on-site client support including inquiries, ad hoc reporting, research, and analytic method guidance.
• Deliver insightful analysis using public records, proprietary data, social media and other open-source data.
• Communicate actionable insights through data visualization and processing methods.
• Collaborate with client managers and TRSS Analysts to build strong cross-functional practices.
• Participate in analytic development, mentorship, training and best-practices development.
