Job summary

Thomson Reuters Special Services (TRSS) seeks a skilled Analyst to deliver research and analysis supporting national security, U.S. military, and law enforcement. The role uses public sources and TRSS data to develop due diligence reports and threat assessments.

Hybrid work arrangement in McLean, VA. Requires U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance. Minimum 3 years in research/analysis and 2+ years OSINT experience; Bachelor’s degree required.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of work experience in research and analysis.
• At least 2 years of experience using public records, open-source information, and/or social media to support research and analysis.
• Strong reading and formal writing skills; proven source evaluation.
• U.S. Citizenship is essential to comply with government contract requirements.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. national security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site client support; respond to inquiries, prepare ad hoc reports, conduct research, and advise on analytic methods.
• Deliver well-researched analysis using public records, proprietary data, social media, and open-source information.
• Apply current methodologies and develop expertise in TRSS data and technology; communicate insights using various media and data processing methods.
• Collaborate with client managers and TRSS analysts to build effective working practices in a fast-paced environment.
• Take ownership to complete increasingly complex tasks and projects.
• Contribute to analytic development through mentorship and training.
