Qualifications

• Minimum of extensive knowledge of Open Science policies and practices (US Public Access, Open Data policy).
• Experience with Open Science tools and repository platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and training skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.

Responsabilités

• Develop and co-author Open Science training materials, guidelines, and implementation resources.
• Propose enhancements to KM systems and tools that strengthen Open Science practices.
• Develop and recommend Open Science workflows supporting transparency, reproducibility, and compliance.
• Work directly with CDC researchers to integrate Open Science principles into research workflows.
• Liaise with CDC CIOs to provide Open Science outreach, instruction, and research support.
• Provide reference and research support to researchers seeking guidance on Open Science implementation.
• Collaborate with CDC scientific leadership and CIO staff to implement Open Science practices.
• Participate in CDC and federal Open Science committees and working groups.
• Adapt activities and deliverables as Open Science policies evolve.
