CDC is seeking a Senior Public Health Scientist to serve as a scientific advisor within the EASO unit. You will lead reviews, coordinate research, evaluate evidence, and translate findings into actionable recommendations for executive decision-makers, collaborating with epidemiologists, data scientists, and policy experts.

The role emphasizes strategic leadership, project oversight, and capability development of junior staff in a fast-paced public health environment.

Competenze

Doctoral degree in Epidemiology, Public Health, Biostatistics, or related field with 12+ years of experience.
Master's degree with 15+ years of experience and leadership in complex research.
Experience conducting and leading scientific reviews and evidence synthesis.
Experience advising federal public health agencies or research organizations.
Strong scientific writing and communication skills.
Experience presenting findings to senior leadership.
Experience leading multiple projects with competing priorities.

Serve as a senior scientific advisor to CDC leadership on public health, scientific, and operational issues.
