Job summary

Seattle University invites applications for a 9-month, tenure-track faculty position (open rank) in the Department of Kinesiology, beginning August 1, 2027. As teacher-scholars, tenure-track faculty are expected to contribute to teaching, scholarly activity, service, and institution building in a nationally recognized program.

Qualifications

• PhD in Kinesiology or closely related discipline is required.
• Demonstrated record of scholarly achievement and teaching excellence.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to foster collaboration and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Teach and advise undergraduate and graduate students in kinesiology.
• Conduct and publish scholarly research in relevant areas.
