Job summary

National Louis University’s Undergraduate College seeks a full‑time Open Rank Professor of Science in Chicago. The position involves teaching and revising the Health Science sequence and core undergraduate science courses, with content expertise across biology, anatomy and physiology, microbiology, and/or chemistry.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Master’s Degree in a science discipline; Doctorate preferred.
• 3–5 years of science experience in a professional setting.
• Commitment to educating historically underrepresented students.
• Content expertise in biology, anatomy & physiology, microbiology, or chemistry.
• Excellent teaching, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience with online or blended formats and data‑driven instruction.

Responsibilities

• Teach and revise the Health Science sequence and required science courses.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to enhance student learning experiences.
• Deliver instruction across multiple modalities and platforms.
• Utilize data to inform instruction and student success initiatives.
• Contribute to curriculum development and program improvement.
