• Ensure an inclusive classroom for effective teaching and learning.
• Respond to students in a timely fashion and serve as the course mentor.
• Employ multiple teaching modalities to help students achieve course outcomes.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm for teaching.
• Maintain collaborative relationships with NIE School of Nursing colleagues.
• Employ a growth mindset and be comfortable giving/receiving feedback.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to improve teaching, practice, and scholarship.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Teach in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing and Loyola University Chicago
• Adhere to state and federal laws (privacy, confidentiality)
• Communicate effectively with students and colleagues
• Demonstrate teaching efficiency and quality in preparing and evaluating virtual laboratory sessions
• Assist students in learning, applying, and synthesizing knowledge
• Guide students in applying theoretical content to laboratory exercises and activities
• Ensure an inclusive classroom for effective teaching and learning

• Academic preparation includes a Master of Science degree or equivalent
