The successful candidate will concentrate on the application of automated methods in cultural heritage and memory institutions, including libraries, archives, and museums, and will contribute to teaching, mentoring, and program development

Qualifications

• PhD in information and library science, data science, computer science, or closely related discipline.
• Promising record of research productivity in automated methods in cultural heritage and memory institutions.
• Commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring with potential to teach undergraduate and graduate courses.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an active research agenda focused on automated methods in cultural heritage and memory institutions.
• Teach courses related to ethical design and implementation of automated systems.
• Mentor and advise graduate and undergraduate students.
• Publish scholarly works or develop tools with wide adoption.
• Seek external funding to support research.
• Engage in service within the division, school, and university.
