The School of Social Work invites applications for an open-rank professional-track position. Hires for this position may be part-time or full-time. Professional-track faculty members are expected to demonstrate excellence in teaching and advising. Faculty members at .75 FTE or above may be expected to participate actively in community extension, engagement, and service to the school, college, university, and profession.
We seek candidates with teaching experience in social work theory, practice, research, and policy. Primary teaching responsibilities will be in the School’s Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) program and/or Master of Social Work (MSW) program. The typical teaching load is 4 courses per semester for a full-time (1.0 FTE) faculty member.
