UNM Neurology seeks a Neurodevelopmental Disabilities specialist to join our Child Neurology team and help lead efforts in New Mexico to improve the care of children and adults with neurodevelopmental disabilities. The position will be part of a team of faculty providing quality patient care in the inpatient and outpatient setting at UNM Hospital and will help lead the Continuum of Care clinic in coordination with UNM Pediatrics. The Continuum of Care clinic is a state-funded clinic designed to facilitate proper care during transition to adulthood for patients with developmental disabilities. Adult or Child Neurologists interested in neurodevelopmental disabilities or transitions of care are also encouraged to apply.

UNM Hospital is the tertiary care center for the State and the only NAEC level 4 epilepsy center, and ALS / MDA center and comprehensive movement disorder center in the State. The UNM Neurology Department has 35 full-time and part-time attending physicians and is home to well-established Residency and multiple Fellowship programs.The child neurology division has six full-time faculty, one part-time faculty, and a nurse practitioner. Our child neurology residency currently accepts two residents per year.
