UNM Neurology seeks a Neurodevelopmental Disabilities specialist to join our Child Neurology team and help lead efforts in New Mexico to improve the care of children and adults with neurodevelopmental disabilities. The position will be part of a team of faculty providing quality patient care in the inpatient and outpatient setting at UNM Hospital and will help lead the Continuum of Care clinic in coordination with UNM Pediatrics. The Continuum of Care clinic is a state‑funded clinic designed to facilitate proper care during transition to adulthood for patients with developmental disabilities. Adult or Child Neurologists interested in neurodevelopmental disabilities or transitions of care are also encouraged to apply.
Participation in teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows.
Collaborating with researchers within and outside the department. Opportunities for pilot funding are available to build out your own research in the future.
