Job summary

University of Colorado CU Nursing is seeking an open-rank Lifecycle Grants & Contracts Professional to support the full grant lifecycle, from pre-award planning to post-award management. The role collaborates with faculty, PIs, and office staff to ensure compliant, efficient administration and timely proposals.

The position offers a hybrid schedule, with three on-campus days per week, and opportunities to work on training, process improvement, and data analysis across grants and contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Substitution: education/experience may substitute for a degree.
• Two years of professional-level experience for Senior/Principal levels.

Responsibilities

• Manage pre-award lifecycle for an assigned CU Nursing portfolio with timely submissions.
• Oversee post-award activities including award setup, budget oversight, and reporting.
• Support sponsor reporting (RPPRs, NCEs, FFRs) and reconcile records.
• Collaborate with university offices on award and financial issues.
• Serve as a resource on research administration policies and systems.
