Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in chemical engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Ability and willingness to participate in Department, college, and university affairs.
• Demonstrated expertise in a relevant area of chemical engineering aligned with the department’s teaching or research needs.
• Proven ability to communicate technical concepts effectively in teaching, research, or other professional settings.
• Evidence of scholarly contributions, such as peer-reviewed publications, appropriate to the position’s rank and career stage.

Responsibilities

• Develop an externally funded research program of international reputation, including collaborative and interdisciplinary research.
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in chemical engineering, including topics in AI and machine learning.
• Perform departmental service, including committee work, as well as engage in broader initiatives that support the education and research missions of the institution.
• Contribute to the broader engineering community through professional service.
