Job summary

University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking an Open Rank faculty member in the Division of Hematology within the Department of Medicine to focus on the management of patients with acute leukemia and myelodysplastic syndromes. The role includes inpatient and outpatient responsibilities and active participation in a clinical leukemia research program at UNC and affiliated Cancer Centers.

Appointment rank and track will be determined by experience and achievements.

Qualifications

• MD, MD/PhD, DO or MBBS degrees with fellowship in adult hematology/oncology.
• Board eligible/certified in hematology and/or oncology.

Responsibilities

• Attend inpatient hematologic malignancy service and manage patients with acute leukemia and MDS.
• Participate in inpatient and outpatient clinical research programs in Leukemia.
• Collaborate with faculty and APPs and mentor hematology/oncology trainees.
