George Mason University is seeking an Open Rank Term Faculty member to teach undergraduate and graduate accounting courses and actively engage in service to the Accounting Area and the Costello College of Business. Qualifications

• Master’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Significant teaching experience in both face-to-face and online spaces; ability to develop materials and teach stand-alone courses.
• Extensive professional accounting experience.
• Ability to teach Intermediate Accounting and other courses at undergrad/grad levels.
• Collegiality and ability to work with colleagues; willingness to contribute to service.
• CPA Certification.

Responsibilities

• Teaches accounting courses in undergraduate and/or graduate programs. Teaching load determined by workload policy.
• Provides service to theAccounting Area, College, University, and profession, including student mentoring and committee work.
• Contributes as a team member to help colleagues and advance college goals.
