Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking an Open Pit Fabricator/Welder for the Cortez operations under the Maintenance team. The role focuses on fabricating and welding metal components, repairing equipment, and supporting safe, reliable operations on a rotating schedule.

You will work with various processes to maintain weld integrity, install safety features, and ensure readiness of tools, equipment, and materials while coordinating with other trades to meet deadlines and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Two+ years experience in maintenance welding or fabrication.
• Proficient in metal fabrication and welding processes.
• Ability to work safely with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintain welds on various items using multiple processes.
• Install safety devices, railings, and related components safely.
• Maintain shop, tools, and equipment for safety and readiness.
• Coordinate with administration and other personnel on projects.
• Support team to meet safety and production goals.
