Qualifications
Minimum one year’s surface drilling experience using various drilling units.
Thorough knowledge of drill patterns and structure development.
MSHA p.48 metal/nonmetal ticket required; training supported.
Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
Responsibilities
Operate a platform drill Cat 6200 and a Sandvik Leopard DI650i.
Understand mechanics of top head drilling units on a mine site.
Comply with all safety policies and procedures.
Perform small mechanical repairs to the drill.
Communicate effectively with team members, able to work with minimal supervision.
