Job summary

A leading construction firm in Arizona is seeking a seasoned Platform or Pioneer Driller to operate production drilling equipment in a large open-pit mining environment. The ideal candidate has at least a year of surface drilling experience and thorough knowledge of drill patterns. This role includes compliance with safety procedures and opportunities for long-term employment with excellent health benefits. Qualifications

• Minimum one year’s surface drilling experience using various drilling units.
• Thorough knowledge of drill patterns and the structure in which they are developed.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Operate platform drill Cat 6200 and Sandvik Leopard DI650i.
• Comply with all safety policies and procedures of drilling.
• Detect and perform small mechanical repairs to the drill.
