Qualifications

• Open-pit drilling experience (rotary, DTH, or top hammer) required.
• Understanding of drill patterns, ground conditions, and production targets.
• MSHA Part 48 certification required (or willingness to obtain; support provided).
• Proven track record of safety, reliability, and performance.

Responsibilities

• Operate CAT 6200 and Sandvik Leopard DI650i drills in a high-production open-pit environment, delivering safe, consistent output.
• Execute drill plans using GPS-guided systems and modern controls to ensure precision and productivity.
• Follow all MSHA, company, and site safety standards in fast-paced, changing conditions.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and minor maintenance to reduce downtime and keep equipment running at peak performance.
