Job summary

Hycroft Mining Holding Corporation in Nevada is seeking a Surveyor to collect site coordinates, survey stockpiles and open pit benches, support the exploration drill program, drone mapping, and provide general support to the Technical Services Department.

The role reports to the Senior Surveyor and requires 0–5 years mining surveying experience, familiarity with Trimble/Leica equipment, GPS, Vulcan software, and a willingness to obtain a drone license.

Qualifications

• 0–5 years of survey experience in a mining environment preferred.
• Experience with survey equipment (Trimble or Leica), GPS, and Vulcan software is a plus.
• Drone license preferred or willingness to acquire one.
• Wear PPE and work in all weather conditions.
• Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Ability to organize data and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work on varied terrain.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Hycroft policies and disciplines.
• Maintain safety culture and safe working practices.
• Assist with exploration drilling activities and surveying of drill sites and hole locations.
• Record survey measurements and data for mine plots and designs.
• Perform miscellaneous survey work around the mine property.
• Drone flights as needed.
• Manage and organize all survey data.
• Punctuality and regular attendance required.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned.
