Job summary

Solidus Resources, LLC, a U.S.-based gold development company, seeks a Heavy Equipment Operator to join on-site operations at the Lovelock, NV mine. The role supports mining, material movement, stockpiling and road maintenance with a focus on safety and environmental stewardship.

Responsibilities include operating hydraulic shovels, CAT loaders and graders, performing inspections, logging equipment data, and collaborating with supervisors and maintenance personnel to meet production targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of heavy equipment operating experience, preferably in open-pit mining.
• Experience operating hydraulic shovels, CAT loaders, and graders is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy mining equipment including hydraulic shovels, CAT loaders, graders, and other equipment as assigned.
• Perform production activities such as loading, hauling support, stockpile management, and road maintenance.
• Conduct pre-operational inspections and complete required equipment logbooks and reports.
• Maintain safe working distances and effective radio communication with dispatch and other operators.
• Identify and report unsafe conditions, ground hazards, or equipment defects.
• Work as part of a team to achieve daily production and safety goals.
