Job summary

Solidus Resources is seeking a Process Operations Superintendent for an on-site role at the Lovelock mine in Nevada. You will establish and lead crusher, conveying, heap leach, and related activities while building and mentoring the operations and technical teams, supporting safe, reliable, and cost-effective performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum eight years of relevant experience with leadership in operations.
• Experience with crushers, conveyors, heap leach construction and dust-control.
• Experience operating an ADR facility.
• Strong knowledge of gold pyrometallurgy and hydrometallurgy.
• Experience supervising technical staff and metallurgical accounting.
• Proven ability to lead innovative projects from concept through design.
• Experience presenting and publishing high-quality technical work.
• Understanding of project management principles is preferred.
• Strong team-building, leadership and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible safety leadership and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Direct operations crews with clear safety, production and conduct expectations.
• Coordinate with leach pad, ADR, maintenance, metallurgy, and support teams.
• Maintain safe, reliable, environmentally compliant plant operations.
• Coach and develop employees through onboarding and mentoring.
• Participate in recruitment, performance management and development.
• Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks and improve efficiency and availability.
• Coordinate maintenance, ensure safe shutdowns and preparation.
• Conduct inspections, enforce hazard recognition and housekeeping standards.
• Develop and improve operating procedures and strategic plans.
• Maintain training, performance records and SAP-based reporting.
• Promote teamwork, accountability and continuous improvement.
