Job summary

Ledcor Group in Arizona is seeking experienced Platform and Pioneer Drillers to operate CAT 6200 and Sandvik Leopard DI650i drills in a high-production open-pit setting, delivering safe, consistent output and meeting production targets.

You will execute drill plans with GPS-guided controls, follow MSHA and site safety standards, perform basic maintenance, and contribute to a long-term, major U.S. mining operation with a 5-on/4-off, 12-hour shift rotation and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year of open-pit surface drilling experience (rotary, DTH, or top hammer).
• MSHA Part 48 (Metal/Nonmetal) certification required (or willingness to obtain—support provided).
• Demonstrated safety, reliability, and performance in demanding environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate CAT 6200 and Sandvik Leopard DI650i drills in a high-production open-pit environment, delivering safe, consistent output
• Execute drill plans using GPS-guided systems and modern controls to ensure precision and productivity
• Follow all MSHA, company, and site safety standards in fast-paced, changing conditions
• Perform basic troubleshooting and minor maintenance to reduce downtime and keep equipment running at peak performance
