Job summary

Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia, seeks an Open Heart Surgical Technologist to work under the supervision of the circulating OR RN and assist the operating surgeon. You will manage instruments and supplies for all procedures and help maintain a safe, efficient OR environment.

You will support, maintain and provide an environment which promotes quality care through effective use of resources and personnel, contribute to patient safety, and pursue ongoing education

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology
• Experience in OR preferred
• Must hold current certification in Surgical Technology
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) is required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
