TGH North is seeking a Lead Surgical Tech for Open Heart procedures. The role leads the surgical tech team in the operating room, mentoring staff and ensuring efficient workflow within the surgical services department.

Responsibilities include assisting with cleaning, restocking, and processing of the surgical suite and instruments while maintaining high standards of patient care and team performance.

Formación

• Education requirement: Technical Program Surgical Technologist Program.
• Certification requirements: BLS through ARC/American Heart Association and CST certification through NBSTSA/AST/NCCT.
• Experience requirement: Minimum five (5) years as Surgical Tech.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the surgical tech team in the operating room environment.
• Mentor team members and ensure efficient functioning of the surgical services department.
• Assist with cleaning, restocking and processing of the surgical suite, instruments and equipment as needed.
