Job summary

Tenet Health Network is seeking an RN for the OR Open Heart unit, full-time days, in Tucson, AZ. The role provides direct nursing care in alignment with hospital policies and patient care plans, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and discharge planning.

The candidate must hold a current AZ nursing license (or compact) and BLS certification, with ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred. BSN is preferred and training opportunities are available within Tenet's care system.

Qualifications

• License required: Arizona Nursing License or compact state license and ability to obtain AZ license within 30 days.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care per established policies and protocols.
• Monitors and communicates patient condition; coordinates care with the healthcare team.
• Assesses discharge planning needs and documents care plans and outcomes.
• Delivers patient/family education and ensures medication administration as ordered.
• Ensures patient safety and continuity of care throughout hospitalization.
