Job summary

Baxter Health in Mountain Home, AR seeks a Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular Surgery (Open Heart) unit. This full-time day shift (06:30 am to 15:00) includes a $2,500 - $10,000 sign-on bonus and the chance to work with advanced CVOR technologies in a high-volume setting.

Education opportunities and certification support are available; ADN is required, Arkansas or Compact RN license, with 1 year experience preferred. BLS required, ACLS/PALS encouraged.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Current Arkansas or Compact State RN License in good standing.
• Minimum of one year experience preferred.
• BLS required. ACLS and PALS are encouraged, but not required.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively. Basic computer knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for assigned patients on the nursing unit and showing leadership within the nursing team.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served.
• Collaborate with all members of the health care team to promote evidence-based care and a healing culture.
