Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room in Libertyville, IL. This full-time role supports an Open Heart Team with a 12 OR suite and Level 1 trauma capabilities.

The RN will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, ensuring safety, evidence-based practice, and effective teamwork on day shifts, M-F, 0700-1530. External candidates may be eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus; benefits include PTO, health/welfare, and retirement

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• Preference for Surgical Services experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
• Lead efforts to ensure the safest patient environment and quality care in the OR.
