Job summary

MyMichigan Health in Michigan is seeking a Registered Nurse for the operating room to assess patient needs before and during surgical procedures, outline care plans, and lead the OR team to ensure patient safety.

You will communicate with patients and families, participate in staff development, and maintain documentation and credentials, including BLS and RN licensure. A sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• Requires RN license and BLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year perioperative experience or surgical nursing preferred.
• Excellent communication and team leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess the needs of surgical patients and develop a care plan.
• Supervise OR activities and coordinate room schedule.
• Communicate with patient, family, and OR team throughout procedures.
• Participate in staff development and continuing education.
