Job summary

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and delivering professional development or adult education programs in virtual and in-person formats.
• Commitment to continuous improvement, accessibility, innovation, and excellence in professional education.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple programs and projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Five years of management experience with state government, higher education, or other public-sector organizations.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight of the open-enrollment professional development portfolio.
• Design, develop, and improve professional development programs; monitor feedback, learning outcomes, enrollment information, and other indicators of program effectiveness.
• Lead in-person and virtual training delivery; create engaging learning environments with interactive methods.
• Lead the transition of virtual programs to in-person delivery and support the shift to Microsoft Teams while ensuring accessibility compliance.
• Develop budgets for open-enrollment programs and monitor revenues, expenses, and cost drivers; report to the Director.
• Identify opportunities to expand services to state agencies and higher education; contribute to proposals, scopes of work, and budgets.
