Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Two years of public-facing experience with diverse populations.
  • Three years of curriculum development experience.
  • Three years of teaching experience in either K-12 or higher education.
  • One year of web-related or multi-media experience.
  • Two years coordinating activities within or managing a facility such as an office, school, or business setting.

Responsibilities

  • Manages operations of Advanced Manufacturing Open Enrollment programs and supports NC Edge Customized Training initiatives; plan, schedule, deliver, evaluate, improve.
  • Coordinate instructional operations: schedule classes, supervise adjunct instructors, assign facilities, equipment, resources, ensuring efficient delivery.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain training programs and materials aligned with industry needs and college objectives.
  • Provide instructional support and assist with classroom, lab, and training activities as needed.
  • Manage administrative functions: course registration, class setup, student records, compliance docs, scholarships, reporting.
  • Assist with coordinating Advanced Manufacturing Center operations: inventory, procurement, maintenance.
  • Develop and implement marketing, recruitment, and outreach strategies to increase enrollment.
  • Build partnerships with business/industry, K-12, workforce agencies, and community organizations.
  • Coordinate and expand K-12 workforce development initiatives and career pathway activities.
  • Collaborate with curriculum faculty to support program alignment and credential pathways.
  • Assist with budget development and management in coordination with the Director.
  • Collect, analyzes and maintains program data for reporting and improvement.
  • Represent the College in recruitment events and with partners.
